Join The Club!

The more the merrier! Join one of the groups on the lake to make your water sports even more fun.

Dixie Sailing Club has some 90 family members who joined together to learn, enjoy and compete in this sport. The well-furnished club house is located on the tip of a peninsula south of the Kowaliga Basin (near the power line crossing). Nearby are campsites, family cabins, on-water storage and a varied fleet from 12" to 26". Weekend races on alternate Saturdays and Sundays. Still Waters Yacht Club -- Sailors and power boaters have regattas and socials year round. For membership information, call StillWaters Residential Association 256/825-4790 and they will put you in touch with a member.

Lake Martin Ski Club -- Fun, learning and competition on skis using the club's facilities and slalom course. Call Mike King 334/263-1991 for meeting information and membership fees.

Lake Martin Resource Association (LMRA) -- The best way to be a part of Lake Martin is to join. You will have the opportunity to work with one of eight committees, keep up with what is going on, issues that may effect you and your home, meet other residents and receive a periodic newsletter.
